The Religion brand has been courting creative sound with its ideas and designs since the early 1990s. In an age when music was full of Crossover styles, Dance, Hard House and Ambient electronics, this anarchistic designer clothing label came bursting onto the scene.

Now, this could all have gone horribly wrong... if Religion’s rebellious attitude hadn’t of been so very fresh that is. After all, music has had a number of one night stands with clothing brands before and most of these have turned out to be downright embarrassing.

However, luckily for the musically-motivated consumer, the selection of t-shirts by Religion is totally devoid of clichés. It may occasionally have the same bad-ass energy of Punk Rock, but it manages to do this without including the petulant child within... And even though it sometimes has strong elements of Seattle Grunge, it carries it off without any morbid self-fixation. Religion clothing has Rock and Roll at its very core, yet it is still incredibly modern. It’s all a bit of a paradox really.

Most of us would agree that a healthy relationship is based upon mutual respect; such as allowing your partner a necessary amount of space. And maybe this is why Religion’s amazing t-shirt range works so well.
