Making a bold arrival at Accent Clothing this SS19 is DSQUARED2 for juniors. Created by Canadian twin brothers, Dean and Dan Caten, have designed casual yet prominent pieces for men, women, and juniors.
Going back to their earlier days, the Caten brothers started their fashion path at the New York Parsons School of Design in 1984, leading them to move to Italy in 1991 to establish their now-famed brand. Through the use of refined Italian tailoring and Canadian iconography, each design is distinctively inspired by their Canadian roots with printed landscapes embellished across cotton t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Their junior wear has a more laid-back effect however can instantly pop colour to your spring/summer wardrobe!
DSQUARED2 has shown significant growth along the way. In 2006, the brand was chosen to design Italian football club Juventus’ official uniform, then selected for Barcelona in 2009 and is presently Manchester City’s official fashion partner. The twin brothers also designed the official uniforms for the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic opening ceremonies in 2016 which took place in Rio, and have both won GQ Man of the Year Award in 2008!
