Things to do in Leeds this Bonfire Night

Celebrate Bonfire Night in Leeds this year with an array of different fireworks display, the most difficult decision will be choosing which to go to!

Roundhay Park

Join 70,000 others to enjoy the biggest bonfire in Leeds! The bonfire will be lit at 7:30 with fireworks beginning at 8pm. This event is perfect for anyone who lives in the city as Roundhay Park is one of Leeds’ most beautiful parks. Being held on Monday 5th November, there is no better way to celebrate Bonfire Night than at this huge display.

Lightwater Valley

Lightwater Valley will put on one of the best firework displays in Yorkshire this year. Open from 10am with their usual rides, stalls and entertainment so you can make this a day-long affair. As darkness falls, the rides will stop and the park will fall silent as they put on a 10-minute firework display over Swan Lake. This is not an event you want to miss and why not combine a trip to the theme park with your Bonfire Night celebrations?

Thorner Victory Hall Fireworks Festival

Thorner is the home to one of the biggest fireworks displays in Leeds, so big that they call it a festival. The bonfire is lit at 6:30pm by a VIP guest (yet to be announced), this is followed by a children’s firework display at 7pm before the main fireworks are set off at 8pm. Food, drink, and sparklers will be available for purchase on the night.
